What People Say

Most Liked

Diners rave about the ceviche, noting its perfect balance of freshness and zest. The lomo saltado also shines as a crowd favorite, with flavors that transport guests straight to Peru. Many appreciate the generous portions, ensuring that no one leaves hungry. The friendly and attentive staff receives high marks for their welcoming disposition, often creating a warm, home-like atmosphere for guests. The availability of both dine-in and takeaway options allows for flexibility in meal choices. The atmosphere strikes a balance between cozy and trendy, ideal for casual gatherings or solo adventures.

Most Disliked

Some guests note that the restaurant's exterior may not catch the eye, with a modest façade that could mislead first-time visitors. A few diners mention that tables can be on the smaller side, making it a bit cramped for larger groups. During peak hours, particularly on Fridays, wait times can extend, leading to an impatient crowd. While parking is generally available, peak dining times may see the lot fill quickly, causing inconvenience for some. A handful of reviews also mention occasional inconsistencies in service speed during busier dinner times.

Every time we come we order the ceviche and the lomo saltado because both are so extraordinary and they balance each other so well with the contrasting flavors. Just really freaking good food. The restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside but Avenida Peru knocks it out of the park every time.

Delicious fresh food! We loved this place and the atmosphere. We had the classic ceviche and the jalea 😋 with chicha morada morada and passion fruit. We will definitely go back as this place is a keeper.

I felt like home walking into this place! The servers treated us with warmth and brought us a cake for my mom’s birthday and sang with a guitar! It’s been a minute since I went but I still recommend them to family and friends. The food is so fresh and flavorful and the portions are grand. Hope to be back soon!

First time trying Peruvian food and this place met my expectations of this amazing cuisine! One of my friend's recommended this place to me. She said that the place reminded here of how food was made at her grandma's home back in Peru, with that description in mind, I definitely had to give it a try! Food was really good, portions are big, and the staff is really nice and open to give any recommendations.

Found this place unexpectedly. Small place, tables are small for the three of us who came in together, clean, friendly, the food is very tasty 😋 Peruvian food, yum. Ordered the lomo and fish plus chicken soup. Very tasty, flavorful. I totally recommend this place.

Delicious traditional entrees with nice presentations and big portions, considering the prices. Service is also great - they were happy to provide us with recommendations. Although it’s a small location, the interior decor is very welcoming. They do have a bar - I’d recommend they create a drinks menu. Parking is free across the street.
